The doctor hung his head finally giving up on the lost cause of repairing her wings.
"im sorry, my queen,they just cant be repaired, they have been too badly broken and there are numerous hole so you would never be able to fly again" he spoke hoarsely
Alcyone clenched her teeth holding back the tears that threatened to spill before whispering sadly," do it.... J-just cut them"
The doctor nodded gravely bringing the knife up, " i am sorry your majesty..."
Loud mournful screams echoed through out the castle.
